31st Annual Quad City Christmas Arts & Craft Fair, Rock Island IL

 The Quad City Christmas Arts & Craft Fair is 80% country crafts and 20% fine arts. This is the largest indoor handcrafted fair in the area. In 2019 we had attendance of 9,600.

FYI, we were full before the first of July 2019. I would recommend that if you are interested in 2020, you register as soon as possible.

 We will maintain our policy of handcrafted items only (see rule #5 and #12).

 There is a $5 admission charge. We flood the area with $1.00 off admission coupons for 2 weeks in 19 newspapers covering a 50 mile radius of Rock Island. Because this is such a huge event and a real tradition in the Quad City area, we also receive coverage from the TV news stations. We also advertise on road signs, banners and local commercials.

 Each year we try to arrange to have some of our exhibitors featured on the Paula Sand’s TV Show, during the week of Thanksgiving. This daily TV show is very popular in the area with our targeted audience and is priceless.

 We offer the convenience of three different days for check in and set up (see registration for actual dates and times). Load in and load out is very easy. The building is ground level with no steps with large overhead doors on three sides of the building. The center has industrial size carts available for free use.

 We encourage demonstrations. For those of you who can demonstrate, and draw a crowd, we will allocate additional space at no cost, as along as space is available. Demonstrations like this can set our fair apart from the others and increase your sales.

 All exhibitors are required to park in the designated areas only. If this is a problem please contact me before registering for this event. We provide a shuttle to and from the city lot before and after the fair each day. We do have space for all sizes of trailers. We also have on site storage for your excess inventory and or packing material, in the same building. This will allow you to restock whenever you need to and have your boxes available when needed.

 Our host motel for this year will be the LaQuinta Inn in Moline IL. The discounted rate will be $52.00 per night plus tax. They offer a nice continental breakfast with “Make your own waffle bar”.

We have a contest for the most exhibitor’s $1.00 off admission coupons that come in through the ticket window. 2019 winners are Mindy Bowers for $50 first place and Kathy Foslien for $25 second place. If you would like to participate in this contest, mark coupons and how many you want on your registration. The main purpose of the coupons is to bring in new customers.
